These were the most popular tests at our test centers in 2022
We gathered last year’s test data from our Espoo and Gothenburg test centers to find out how many of each certification were taken. It was interesting to see the difference between the two test centers: in Espoo, tests were taken more evenly, while in Gothenburg certain tests, such as GMAT and Microsoft, clearly attracted more interest than others.
The largest share of tests at both test centers was the Other category, which includes all individual, smaller certifications. In Espoo, Microsoft tests were taken the most: around 20% of all tests taken were theirs. The remaining shares are spread fairly evenly, at least compared with Gothenburg. The share of language tests was similar at both test centers: 11% in Espoo and 10% in Gothenburg.
It will be interesting to see whether the situation changes this year, and if so, how! Some differences from last year can already be seen, as tests are again being taken at the same volume as before the pandemic. In recent years, far fewer certifications were taken on site because of COVID-19.
